Last night's DVD launch party at The Casbah in Sheffield attracted
some very special guests including Philip,
Joanne and
Susan.

Puebla has very kindly sent in some more info on the Bue Festival
that will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 29th. Other
artists scheduled to appear include FC
Kahuna, Massive
Attack, Junior
Sanchez and Client
Manager Andy Fletcher.
The event is being sponsored by MTV and League fans in South America

North American record label Hi-Bias
have contacted the site about their new CD Retro:
Active 2 Rare And Remixed which includes the Extended Mix
of US chart topper Human - the
first time it has ever appeared on CD.
The compilation also includes other rare and classic mixes that
have previously been unavailable on CD such as the dance remix of
the Blancmange stomper 'Don't
Tell Me' & Yazoo's
superb B-side 'State Farm'. OMD's
'So In Love' is also represented
with a brand new mix all for just $14.99.

Beevers has confirmed that Human
League will appear at the high
profile V Festival
this year in August along with a host of other acts including the
likes of Dido,
Primal Scream,
the newly reformed Pixies,
Massive Attack
& The Divine Comedy.
This year's Brit Award winners Basement
Jaxx will also be playing on
the same stage as the League along with RnB diva Jamelia
in the Dance Tent
and the events take place in
Hylands Park, Chelmsford & Weston Park, Staffordshire on August
21st & 22nd.

We
have a spare review copy of 'Made
In Sheffield' to give away on
glorious DVD containg extra interviews containing insights from
Philip,
Martin,
Ian,
Joanne,
Susan
and Stephen Singleton
of Vice Versa/ABC
fame who all talk about the birth of electronic pop.
The DVD gets it's region 0 UK release on April 26th but because
we still think it's Christmas here at Secrets Online, you could
have a free copy next week.

has imformed the site of some possible spring/summer dates for the
UK and beyond though just two of the dates are confirmed so far
including a private function for BT (so don't go booking tickets
just yet for the others).
We hope to have more details shortly with ticket booking details
for the ones that will go ahead.
In the email, db stresses that 'things
are not 100% confirmed and I will try to confirm asap.'
