Everyone's featuring somebody lately...so let's hear that primal scream for CSS.

Overdosing on doom pop here lately, it's time for some guilty pleasure, it will put sunshine in your bag and a spring in your step. Having blogged it last week, Orac has been jumpy jumping around for it to be track of the week in EY land too.

CSS featuring 'rock icon' Bobby Gillespie with 'Hits Me Like A Rock' is summery and ridiculously upbeat enough from the album release in August to brighten up the month of British flash floods.

There's a big banger of a middle eight in this too with some unusual movement, starting with a, wait for it, guitar (sharp intake of breath); a cheery taster from the coming album 'La Liberacion'. Gillespie and CSS singer Lovefoxxx worked together on Primal Scream's 2008's 'Beautiful Future' so this new collaboration is no surprise...enjoy!
