EMP
Paul is a professional remixer/producer whose impressive CV includes Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lisa Scott-Lee and Mel C with writing credits on the title track on her recent solo album ‘Beautiful Intentions’.
Recently Paul has provided stunning new remixes of classic tracks from artists including The Human League, OMD, Depeche Mode and Fad Gadget for Electronically Yours bringing him widespread acclaim including winning “Best Remix” on the official Ultravox website last year. In total, his remixes have been downloaded over 30,000 times. His most recent production features electro legend Afrika Bambattaa and Laura More (from the infamous Eric Prydz “Call on Me” video) and has just been signed to Italian dance label Expanded Music.
Paul is a true connoisseur of electro in every sense of the word who is able to blend classic analogue sounds with contemporary production and he lists The Human League’s Dare as his all time favourite album. EMP will be playing a mixture of new and classic electro tracks combined with some exclusive mixes on the night.
A-DAM
A Brighton DJ/promoter whose club night ‘F**k The Pain Away’ is getting quite a name for itself. The club night has recently played host to The Mighty Boosh faves Dead Dog In Black Bag and Dare Producer Martin Rushent (as guest DJ).
A-Dam also has a regular electro night in Warsaw Poland where he plays to huge crowds and the Brighton DJ has recently spun some tunes for Island Record’s Ladytron having impressed band member Ruben who usually takes charge of the decks prior to Tron gigs.
A-Dam has a vast knowledge of the electro genre and an endless supply of collectable electro gems on vinyl - his most cherished pop act is The Human League.
Matt Nida
Matt Nida has DJed regularly in London and Cambridge, including sets at Client's Being Boiled night and playing alongside Depeche Mode's Andy Fletcher at La Locomotive in Paris. He plays an upbeat, crowd-pleasing mix of electro tunes, taking in classic synthpop, new wave, vintage techno and modern electroclash.
