All girl Greek act Marsheaux have this year released the critically acclaimed album ‘Peek A Boo’ on Athens label Undo Records. Containing wonderfully uplifting analogue electro and exceedingly catchy pop tunes, ‘Peek A Boo’ is an outstanding collection of contemporary pop songs.
Immensely talented and with a burning passion for electronic music and The Human League in particular, Marsheaux have just recently signed to major record label Out Of Line.
The UK release of ‘Peek A Boo’ reached number one this summer in MusicNonStop’s album chart four weeks before it’s official release date of July 6th outselling albums from the likes of Nine Inch Nails, VNV Nation and Orbital.
Interest throughout Europe for the chic Marsheaux has grown rapidly since Electronically Yours awarded the album 9/10 back in January and the girls have been dubbed ‘Greek Sensations’. A Marsheaux cover version of the League’s ‘Empire State Human’ for Electronically Yours recently topped 6,000 downloads and the girls have previously provided official promo mixes for artists including Depeche Mode, Moby and Gwen Stefani.

Marsheaux supported the newly reformed OMD at the Lykabettus Theatre in Athens on June 1st and Marsheaux’s latest track is a cover of OMD’s classic ‘She’s Leaving’ with new vocals recorded by Andy McCluskey.
